She doesn't doubt that I love her.
She doesn't wonder if I should be working instead of spending time with her.
She doesn't worry about the correction she received earlier for climbing up on the table . . . again.
She just soaks up the love as we sit together. She's as sure as can be that I am hers and that she was created for me.
"Change and become like little children . . . " Matthew 18:3
"Now I know in part; then I shall know fully even as I am fully known."
1 Corinthians 13:12
Today and each day, may you sit with God, Abba Father, with the awareness that you are fully known and fully loved by Him.
Know and be known.

Thanks for the gentle reminder. How is it, that despite the fact that I lean on His Word, I often forget that I don't need to "prove" myself to him?
Have a great Sunday night!
What a truly insightful and elegantly written post. Thank you for that!
Have a blessed start to your week!
What a beautiful post, I hope to have the same relasionship one day :)
Just beautiful! Great post!
Aw, just beautiful! Children like yours are able to trust because you have proved yourself trustworthy to her. A beautiful sight to behold.
Our God is trustworthy too, but so often we doubt. He is patient and long-suffering, waiting for us to crawl into his lap... :~D
It is truely amazing what God can teach us as parents as we learn to see things through our childs eyes!
What a beautiful, beautiful post.
I saw your reply to the thread on Blog Frog, "What is your impression of God?" and it, too, was beautiful so I thought I would come check out your blog. I love it so I just became your newest 'Follower'. I will definitely be back to read more of your great posts. I hope you will visit me, too.
I pray you have a wonderfully blessed week!

Being a parent has been such a gift because it does open my eyes to another side of God. I'm so thankful!
Such a beautiful picture of who we are with Him...love your post, as usual!
Well, didn't you just bring me to tears? God delights in us yet I forget this so often. He does love when we sit with Him, doesn't He? What a wonderful analogy.
