Good Stored Up (WORD-Filled Wednesday)

"What goes into a man's mouth does not make him 'unclean,'
but what comes out of his mouth, that is what makes him unclean."
Matthew 15:11

"For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.
The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him,
and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him."
Matthew 12:35

Fill up with good things today.  Fill up with His Word.

Oh my! I'm still fighting a sinus infection. You should have heard my laugh and cough all at the same time! My grandchildren presented similar faces to me on more than one occasion! Such a sweet reminder, a merry heart (Good RX ), and a delightful Word-Filled Wednesday encouragement. :)

Sweet pictures - and a good reminder. Sometimes I need to stop and think about what I say before saying anything.

ouch! that really hurts but thank you very much for this reminder. i've been struggling to keep my mouth shut if i don't have anything good to say. lately, i know God is frowning at me already. i will repent but would slip again. it's about my boss and i will say nothing more. it's so hard but i know God wanted me to let go of offense. whew, that was still a mouthful. hehe...

Ooooh these pics are lovely, and what a sweetie pie -- even with the mudpie in her mouth! The graphic pic is striking -- even mud in our mouth doesn't make us unclean! It's our own hearts that make us unclean. Oh, the irony!!! Thanks for sharing!
